The Foresters Nursing Home offers first class accommodation and personal care in a luxurious setting, combining a whole host of equipment and modern facilities designed specifically to meet the needs of elderly adults.
Located in the heart of the countryside, with extensive views from the Clent Hills, The Foresters Nursing Home is an exclusive development for residents who wish to spend their retirement in comfort and style.
Set in 6 acres of grounds, the home is ideally placed to enjoy the benefits of the scenery and tranquillity of rural Worcestershire, whilst being easily accessible from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge and Kidderminster; junction 4 of the M5 being only minutes away.
The Foresters is the perfect setting for long or short stays, whether for personal, respite or convalescent care. Residents can feel free to enjoy their privacy and individuality, whilst also being part of the larger family of residents here at the Nursing Home. Whatever your interests, residents at the home receive a warm and friendly welcome and most importantly an excellent level of care. Most of our residents live permanently at The Foresters, however, we can provide short stay accommodation for those in need of respite care. In addition, convalescent facilities, including 24 hour personal care, can be made available for those recovering from an operation or illness.
The Foresters Nursing Home offers Accommodation for all 30 residents is in twenty-six single rooms and two twins. Every room is equipped with a 24-hour emergency call system and the home is fully equipped with appropriate facilities for the disabled. All the bedrooms, communal spaces and assisted bathrooms meet the minimum requirements for existing homes. All door widths are suitable for wheelchair users.
The Foresters has its own laundry department taking care of bedding, towels and personal clothing. Dry cleaning can also be arranged at an additional cost. Newspapers and magazines can be individually ordered and will be charged monthly to your account. Toiletries, personal items and stationary can also be purchased within the home.
Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and details are printed in a newsletter each month. Our activities coordinator organises activities including Scrabble, Exercise Classes, Quiz and Skittles, Sherry and Chat, Birthday Buffets, Lunch Parties, Outside Walks and Summer Outings.
The Foresters Nursing Home provides a safe and stable environment to encourage its residents to be as independent and active as possible. Two lifts have been fitted and throughout the home there is a professionally maintained fire alarm and call bell system. We are inspected and regulated by The Care Quality Commission. At The Foresters Nursing Home, we like to ensure that our guests look and feel their best. Our own care staff provides care and support Monthly, visits are made by a chiropodist and other services that can be arranged include a dentist, physiotherapist, an optician and aromatherapy.

At all of our Clarendon homes, we have a structured daily timetable that allows our residents to enjoy leisure activities, such as Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, iPad sessions, social clubs, wine tasting and much more.

Dining at The Foresters
The Foresters has it’s own resident chef that can cater for all dietary needs including specialised diets. We create interesting and varied choices of dishes to suit all tastes. All produce is locally sourced and residents have the choice of dining together in our dining room or if they prefer, in the privacy of their own room.
Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served daily between meals, an ideal time for family and friends to join in the fun. For special occasions lunch or tea parties can also be organised.
